Pop Up Preschool (PUP) is an innovative, mobile early childhood education program designed to bring high-quality, equitable learning experiences directly to underserved communities. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to exceptional early education, PUP eliminates barriers to access by meeting families where they are—literally and figuratively. Our mobile model ensures that children in low-income, marginalized, or geographically isolated areas can experience the transformative power of early education in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.

Mission
Our mission is to create equitable opportunities for young learners by delivering exceptional early childhood education, fostering school readiness, and empowering families to be active participants in their children’s academic journeys. By removing logistical challenges such as transportation and financial limitations, PUP aims to strengthen communities one child at a time.

Curriculum and Approach
Pop Up Preschool utilizes the FrogStreet curriculum, a research-based, developmentally appropriate program designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. The curriculum incorporates STEM activities, the Science of Reading, and hands-on, play-based learning to ensure that each child is equipped with the cognitive, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.

Parent and Community Engagement
We understand that education doesn’t stop in the classroom. PUP prioritizes family involvement through monthly newsletters, quarterly parent-teacher conferences, and community events that strengthen the bond between home and school. By partnering with families, we empower parents to be their children’s first and most important teachers.

Impact and Vision
Pop Up Preschool has already made a significant impact by serving families in need and cultivating a love for learning in children who might otherwise miss out on early education. As we look to the future, our vision is to expand our reach, replicate our model in other communities, and continue creating brighter futures for children and families.

What we offer Preschoolers at our Pop Up Locations

Building language — Each day, toddlers have the opportunity to build their vocabulary and strengthen their language skills. Word acquisition is a cornerstone of our Early Preschool.
Music and movement — It may look like silly, goofy play but our music and movement component helps toddlers obtain the necessary gross motor skills to become a successful Preschooler.
Ingenuity — Exploration is the key. Whether it is arts and crafts or working with clay, our early preschoolers will not lack in ways to develop their creative and artistic skills.

Physical Development — An active body is a healthy body while playing indoors. Each Preschooler has scheduled time daily to develop small and large motor skills. As strong body helps to develop a strong mind.
Social interaction — Early Preschoolers will learn how to make friends, have positive interactions, regardless of differences in race, gender, ethnicity or religious beliefs.
